The "Signs of Spring" foldbooks record the stately and deliberate pace of the Pacific northwest spring - buds appear, stall with weather setbacks, swell quickly in warm rain, and then pause again in a cold wind. Working in the 'foldbook' format made a journal of sorts as I brought flowers indoors to paint and paid attention to the weather. The books are on Arches hot press paper, bound by The Watermark Bindery here in Port Townsend.
